The MK.IV “Cuttlefish” tripod seems to be the ultimate weapon of the invaders; but it is also possible that this monstrous achievement of alien technology is only the forerunner of even worse things to come. Whatever the case, the “Cuttlefish” displays a terrifying combination of speed, maneuverability, and weaponry: powerful energy shields, long-range heat ray, and multiple black smoke launchers. It is, as yet, undefeated on the battlefield, but the bravest “Knights of the Air” are trying to find out who will be the first to destroy one!

Tripods and Triplanes

In Wings of Glory: Tripods and Triplanes, the knights of the air of WWI battle against colossal fighting machines sent by the Martians to invade Earth. Take control of an awesome Martian Tripod, set upon bringing death and destruction to our planet, or fly in the most advanced flying machines created by Mankind during World War One, and try to use them to win the War of the Worlds.

Tripods and Triplanes is a new, stand-alone game, fully compatible with WWI Wings of Glory. It introduces a new twist to the game, as the historical setting is turned upside down by the crossover with H.G. Wells’ imaginative novel, “The War of the Worlds.”
What should be the end of the war becomes the Year of the Invasion. Two different generations of tripods, one more advanced that the other, land on Earth, in two invasion waves. Fortunately, the recent advances in weapon technology give Mankind a fighting chance against these monstrous invaders.
